You see God has always been present
as that continuum of blessings has emerged.
When I asked for love, He said I already have it.
When I asked for grace, He said it was already given.
When I asked for Him to be there,
He said He already was and has been all along.
I asked for forgiveness,
He said the price has already been paid.
I asked for talents, He said I already have them.
I asked for gifts,
He said I gave you the best
I could ever give you ... I gave you my Son.
